Grand Forks County, ND -- America’s first UAS business and aviation park will bring numerous opportunities to region WHO, WHAT: WHEN, WHERE: NOTE: Ten minutes prior to the commemoration ceremony, a declaration will be signed by members of Grand Sky, state and local government officials. The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes and will consist of speeches from several government and Air Force dignitaries along with other state, county and local officials. These include, but are not limited to, Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley, U.S. Sen. John Hoeven, U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer, members of the North Dakota Department of Commerce and members of the Grand Forks Economic Development Center. A press conference will follow, allowing media representatives to ask questions of a few key members. PROTOCOL: If you plan to attend the commemoration of the official execution of the Enhanced Use Lease between The U.S. Air Force, Grand Forks County and Grand Sky, you MUST RSVP no later than Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 5 p.m. In order to gain clearance onto the base, you must provide the following information:
PROTOCOL: Media attending the event will be met at the main gate by an escort from 319th ABW Public Affairs at 9:30 a.m. All media members will have to park in the visitor lot and go into the gate building to receive a base pass for their vehicles.
