Dkota Investments, Inc. to Build Distribution Center for Bimbo Bakeries USA in Tomball Business & Technology Park

Tomball, TX — The Tomball Economic Development Corporation (TEDC), is pleased to announce that it has sold its fifth lot in the Tomball Business & Technology Park. The buyer, Dkota Investments, Inc. of Dallas, is a national company that provides build-to-suit facilities in the warehouse and mixed-use segments for large multi-national corporations as well as smaller, privately owned businesses.
Dkota Investments, Inc. purchased 4 acres in the Tomball Business and Technology Park for a 20,000 square foot build-to-suit distribution center for Bimbo Bakeries, USA. This project is anticipated to create 14 new full-time jobs operating two 8-hour shifts within the city of Tomball once operational later in 2019.
Tom Condon, Jr., Senior Vice President in The Woodlands office of Colliers International represented the seller. Andrew W. Sowell, SIOR with Boyd Commercial, LLC represented the buyer. The Tomball Business and Technology Park encompasses 99.5 acres of land located at the northwest corner of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and Holderrieth Road, within the City of Tomball. The Park is Master Planned and Deed Restricted with a Light Industrial zoning classification. The Park is fully served with all utilities and provides off-site detention. Its flexible lot sizes and competitive pricing make the Park an attractive location for new and expanding businesses.
The Tomball EDC is a non-profit Type B Corporation created pursuant to the Texas Development Corporation Act of 1979. The TEDC was formed in 1994, after the citizens of Tomball voted to pass a ½ cent sales tax dedicated to economic development. The TEDC is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors appointed by the Tomball City Council.
