The technology hub and service center will support clients of the company’s innovative, private-exchange-based services and solutions that enable people to navigate their benefit options with confidence and give employers peace of mind that they are making the right decisions.

“Greater Phoenix has been a great home to Willis Towers Watson for decades,” said Willis Towers Watson Managing Director Gene Wickes, leader of Exchange Solutions. “The Valley of the Sun is known for its incredible pool of talent, strong education, technical expertise and bilingual capabilities. Our clients and customers around the country will be better off as a result of our stronger presence here. We are committed to becoming an even more active participant in the economic strength of the region by creating hundreds of new jobs, and I am honored to be part of our company’s deeper commitment to Arizona.”

In the last year, more than 2,000 new technology jobs have come to Tempe and Phoenix, from companies such as Willis Towers Watson, Entertainment Partners, ZipRecruiter, Reztech and more.

“In Arizona, we are focused on developing a pipeline of workers with the technical skills necessary to meet the needs of today’s employers, and when a global leader like Willis Towers Watson praises our talent pool, we know that effort is paying off in a big way,” said Governor Doug Ducey. “Technology and information jobs are critical to maintaining Arizona’s economic competitiveness, and our state has seen impressive growth in these jobs thanks to companies like Willis Towers Watson investing in our state.”

“Willis Towers Watson is an example of the incredible innovation happening in Arizona’s Ninth District. We are excited to welcome them to Tempe and look forward to working together to create jobs and grow Arizona’s economy,” said U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema.

“Tempe is a top destination for companies looking for the skilled technology workforce and lifestyle that our city offers. Nearly 15,000 people in Tempe work in the technology industry. We thank Willis Towers Watson for its investment in our community,” said Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell.

“As the Vice Mayor of Phoenix, I know that a world-class city requires a strong, vibrant metropolitan area, and District Eight residents stand to gain from good news throughout the Valley, especially in District Eight’s eastern neighbor, Tempe,” said Phoenix Vice Mayor Kate Gallego. “Technology is the driver in today’s workforce, and I thank Willis Towers Watson for investing in our Valley, creating jobs for District Eight residents and contributing to prosperity in both Phoenix and our entire Valley.”
