The world’s largest online marketplace to buy and sell women’s and kids’ secondhand clothing grows operations with Grand Opening of Fourth Distribution Center in Duluth, Georgia

Duluth, GA -- thredup.com, the leading online marketplace to buy and sell secondhand women’s and kids’ clothing, celebrated the Grand Opening of its new distribution center 2670 Breckinridge Blvd. in Duluth, Georgia with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and attended by state and local officials. Speakers at the event included thredUP COO, John Voris and SVP, Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development, Nick Masino.

“We viewed 20 buildings in the Atlanta area before choosing the facility in Gwinnett County. thredUP has further distribution centers located in San Leandro, California, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Vernon Hills, Illinois. Its fourth and newest facility, based just outside Atlanta is currently being filled with inventory from fashion brand favorites like J.Crew, Gap, Banana Republic and many more. This new operations hub will serve as a gateway to the southeastern U.S., allowing customers in this region to receive orders and process Clean Out Kits in a much faster timeframe.

With the growing success of e-commerce businesses, a new modern warehouse model has emerged.
