Waco, TX -- Time Manufacturing, headquartered in Waco since 1968, announces expansion plans for its truck-mounted hydraulic lift manufacturing operations in Waco, Texas. Time will invest $5.8 million to expand its facilities by 50,000-square-feet at Texas Central Parkway and add 121 jobs during the next four years.

The factory manufactures 20 to 25 aerial lifts per day, for a total of 3,500 to 4,000 units a year. The lifts are sold at dealerships throughout the U.S. and in Europe, Latin America and parts of Asia.

"We're putting people in the air," said Charles Wiley, president of Time Manufacturing. "So we have to have partners who understand what we do and the liability involved. We're putting a guy up there to work on a hot line. If the fiberglass doesn't work, that's not a small problem. If a cylinder doesn't work, that's not a small problem. We can control the welding and how cylinders are made."

"Time Manufacturing Co. is a well-managed manufacturer that has continuously and consistently exhibited vigorous sales growth over the last 10 years due to its continued innovation, quality product and a very dedicated, well trained and skilled workforce," said Judge Scott Felton, McLennan County Judge. "Additionally, Time Manufacturing Co. has always made efforts to improve the county and make it an even better place to live."

"This is a great Waco company that has two sites in Waco and significant share of the market," said Dale Fisseler, City of Waco Manager. "Their continued operations in Waco will further lift our local economy to a higher level."

Time manufacturing is the leading aerial lift manufacturer in the world today. With two state of the art manufacturing facilities encompassing more than 300,000 square feet, Time is one of the premier factories of its kind. Since 1965, building quality aerial devices has been the central focus. Time has additional operations in Bethel, Pennsylvania and the UK.
